Has anyone tried the new McDonalds mint hot cocoa? VERY yummy. Unfortunately I really don’t like paying $2.50 for a cup of hot cocoa that I can make much cheaper. Want to know how? I was able to duplicate the taste very quickly and easily.

The secret? Add 1 drop of pure peppermint oil mixed in your hot cocoa and it’s perfect! We did find that if you let the cocoa cool just a bit the peppermint taste is much better.

So, go to Walmart, spent less than $2.00 on a bottle of peppermint by LorAnn and you’re all set. Want to experiment? Try the Cinnamon or Creme de Menthe. Those are very yummy too!
